How to Make Your Own Audio Affirmations Using AI

If you're seeking modern methods to reprogram your subconscious mind and change your limiting beliefs, this tutorial is for you. Specifically, we'll demonstrate how to elevate your audio affirmations using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. But it doesn’t end there. You can also apply these principles to create a life vision, meditations, and other self-improvement audios.

How to make your own audio affirmations using AI

For this particular teaching, we’ll be using the AI software called Descript. Descript is the sole tool you'll require to transcribe, edit, record, collaborate, and share your podcasts and videos, according to the website. Having already created a previous tutorial on how to make your own audio affirmations, I saw this as a fantastic opportunity to enhance them with AI. You can download this to try it for free. I think this software is incredible and offers numerous possibilities.

Using Descript voice

Descript has the capability of recreating your voice to speak anything that you type, even if you didn’t say it. (I know, it’s pretty crazy!) You might be thinking, how? When you provide Descript with a sample of your voice, it can create an AI version that sounds extremely realistic. That’s the basics covered. Now let’s dive into the steps.

Step 1: Download and Install Descript for free

Once installed, you should see something similar to the image above.

Step 2: Submit a Voice Sample to Descript

After installation, provide Descript with a voice sample by either recording directly into the software or uploading an audio file. To ensure optimal results, you must submit a minimum of 10-30 minutes of audio. Processing times may range from 2-24 hours.

The better quality of audio you can use, the better the results will be. I’ll list a few microphones below for you to check out.

In the example shown below, I uploaded several audio files that I already had recorded. This accumulation was over 30 minutes.

Step 3: Add Your Affirmations to Descript

After Descript has processed your voice sample, a "speaker" symbol will appear. Select the symbol, then the corresponding speaker, and input your affirmations. Utilize the overdub function, and Descript will convert your text to audio using your voice. Please note, if you require more than 1,000 words, you must upgrade to the paid version. You can still use the software, but the free version will only give a 1000-word vocabulary limit. It replaces the other words with Jibba-Jabba.

Step 4: Use Chat GPT for Inspiration

What if you don’t know what affirmations to use? Should you struggle with creating affirmations, turn to AI-powered tools like Chat GPT for inspiration. This tool can generate prompts and ideas for your affirmations. Simply pose a question, and Chat GPT will provide you with recommendations.

Shown above are some of the most common limiting beliefs. You then ask Chat GPT to provide you with the opposite of these to create a series of powerful "I AM" affirmations.

Note: You may want to consider using affirmations that are important to you based on things that you’re trying to overcome. For instance, if you have blocks around money, perhaps this is where your focus will be.

Step 5: Create Your Audio Affirmations

Once you have a list of affirmations, you can then copy the written text into Descript and allow it to speak them using your voice. You may want to make separate ones for each area of life or have a longer audio that includes multiple aspects - the choice is yours.

You may want to add audio tracks to the affirmations before exporting. I’ll leave some suggestions below where you can get copyright or royalty-free music to legally use.

Step 7: Listen to Your Affirmations

Listen to your affirmations on your computer, phone, or other devices. Listen to them at least once a day, preferably in the morning or before bed. You may also listen to them while performing other activities like exercising or cleaning.
