How to get answers from the subconscious mind

There’s a way for you to communicate and receive answers from your subconscious mind. Understanding and applying these principles will provide tremendous clarity on yourself, your life, and everything you desire.


You’re probably aware of those moments when the answers to your most pressing questions pop up unexpectedly.


Those shower moments or the walk outside into nature.


That's your subconscious mind at work.

Creating mental space


I believe this is partly because during these activities, you’re present and focused on what you’re doing, from a place of non-resistance. In other words, you’re likely not overthinking.


For many people, their minds are constantly busy, overthinking everything, trying to plan or predict the rest of their day and week. This is why it’s hard to find clarity - there’s too much noise.


So this is the first step to finding answers from the subconscious is to create space in your mind.


You may do this through disconnecting from social media, meditating, taking walks outside, journaling, reading, or something else that allows you to quiet your mind.


From this place, you’re more receptive to the instructions from the subconscious mind.

The Hypnogogic State


The next piece involves consciously prepping for a hypnogogic state. (The state just before sleep). From this place, you want to set an intention, ask a question, and seek help from the subconscious. You can also use this state to picture your ideal life and tap into the feeling of it as already true.


It’s been said that Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison used this technique for inspiration and ideas in their work.


They would sit down with a set of keys in each hand, place 2 plates beneath them just on the floor, and then get into a relaxed state. As they were drifting off, the keys would fall, make a noise, and wake them from that state.


Many times, their subconscious would provide them with an insight, idea, or sense to do something specific.


How you can get answers from your subconscious mind


The easiest time to do this would be just before you sleep each night when your body naturally adjusts to the sleepy brainwave state. (Theta brainwave state)


You could also find time in the afternoon if you feel like taking a nap. The main objective is to perform these ideas from that sleepy state.


At this point, it’s up to you to decide what information you want to receive.


My advice is to get super specific.


Is it a problem you’re struggling with?

Is it that you lack clarity?

Do you have a difficult decision to make?

Are you unsure of the next steps toward your goals?


Once you know this, you can write the question or challenge on a piece of paper. Read it several times, feel into it, and put the paper beside your bed.


Your only job now is to relax, fall asleep, and wait for the answers. Sometimes, you might wake up in the night with a message. Write it down immediately on the paper.

Trust me, this has happened to me in the past and I went straight back to sleep. In the morning, I couldn’t remember what the idea was.


Sometimes, it might be a day or 2 before the message comes to you. But if you’ve followed the steps, you will receive answers.

Conclusion


Your subconscious mind wants to help you, but it has no opinion. It acts on the felt ideas of what is impressed upon it.


The problem is that most people are so focused on their unwanted reality - bills to pay, arguments amongst friends, problems at work, and so on.


Understand that your inner world is the creation portal for your outer world.
